The controls of our construction circular saws are also designed for ease of use and efficiency:
- Special motor protection switches combined with CEE appliance plugs protect against overload. In combination with a thermal sensor, this results in optimum motor protection.
- Undervoltage release switches off in the event of a power failure and secures the machine against automatic start-up when power is restored.
- Standard equipment of the three-phase machines with phase inverter for easy adjustment of the direction of rotation.
For special safety, we developed a safety hood in the course of the revision of the EN 1870-19 standard, even before the amendment of the Machinery Directive 2006 / 42 / EC, which has been proven to lead to a significant reduction in occupational accidents. This was awarded the EURO Test Prize of the EU's construction trade associations. Following the entry into force of the new Machinery Directive, since 2010 all new circular saws for construction sites have been equipped with the further improved safety hood and other essential safety components and are only supplied in this version.
